Quick Pizza

A simple weeknight pizza using pantry staples.

Makes 2 pizzas · Serves 4

Make the dough.

  • Flour (all-purpose), 300 g
  • Yeast, 1 tsp
  • Salt, 1 tsp
  • Sugar (white), 1 tsp
  • Olive oil, 2 tbsp
  • Water, 190 g Warm.

Combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add oil and warm water. Mix until a shaggy dough forms, then knead 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and rest 30 minutes.

Assemble and bake.

  • Pasta sauce (jarred), 120 g
  • Mozzarella (low-moisture), 200 g Shredded.

Preheat oven to 230°C. Divide dough in half and stretch each piece into a round on a floured surface. Spread sauce, top with cheese, and add any other toppings you like. Bake directly on a hot baking sheet or stone for 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
